Today's food log

Breakfast: Sprouted toast w/ pb and honey
Lunch: pecans, walnuts, dark chocolate
hot & sour soup
2 pickle slices
dinner: hummus, pita bread, olives

Day 3

Breakfast: mushrooms, cilantro and salsa verde wrap
lime popsicle
Snack: walnuts, pecans, dark chocolate
Lunch: seaweed salad; shrimp spring rolls w/ peanut sauce
Dinner: fried cauliflower, naan, chana masalla

Pesca-what?

So exercise, diet pills, and eating "right" have not done their job. I keep finding myself gaining weight. It is super frustrating! In my latest attempt to ensure good eating decisions and exercise traits, I have set new rules.

1.) 75-80 sits-ups at night during random 2 minute commercial break
2.) arm work - do before shower in am and before bed at night
3.) yoga - Mon and Wed classes
4.) eat no mammals and avoid their products (dairy, eggs, etc)
5.) breathe of fire while dog does business in AM
6.) squats while waiting for toaster
7.) and leg lifts

I am continuing my other exercises and am maintaining my calorie limitation. I am so frickin hungry!!!!!

Today's food:
breakfast: sprouted toast (2 slices), crunchy pb and honey
lunch: walnuts, pecans, dark chocolate; pita chips with guacamole
dinner: 3 shrimp in wrap with cilantro and verde salsa
snack: pita chips

Friday 4/15

So I have been off of the Zoloft and then got off of the Metformin. I am now on phentermine for two months. I have to remind myself to eat. It is wonderful. The Metformin just made me hungry. I am thinking thin thoughts..... The last three years have been very frustrating. I just want to be normal sized for me again. Going to keep a food journal again to track my eating (and make sure I do)

Thursday, 4/14
1 12 oz glass of skim milk
1 oatmeal
1/2 warm crawfish salad from The Chimes (w/ honey mustard dressing)
1 apple
1 vodka & cranberry
1 small spinach salad (balsamic vinagrette)
2 pieces of cheesy bread with marinera

Friday, 4/15
1 12 oz glass of skim milk
1 bowl of Go Lean
4 pieces of crawfish quesadilla w/ guac, salsa, jalapenos, and sour cream
2 chips with salsa
1 6 oz frozen margarita w/ salt
waffle fries
2 vodka & cranberry

Detox

I have been weaning myself off of Zoloft for a week now. Been decreasing the dosage by 50mg a week. I have now started on just 50mg a day this week and hope to be done in two weeks. We shall see. I have been on Zoloft for over a decade now. I am hoping that getting o ff of the drug will mark the return of my metabolism. My hopes are high. I can directly link my weight gain to the start of my drug use. I immediately put on 10 lbs then would see a 5lb increase annually. My strict exercise regimen has keep me from gaining weight but I have yet to lose any significant poundage. Fingers crossed!
